Crossing
by Jayne Bremyer
The purpose of Crossing is to provide assurance and specific guidelines for yourself or a loved one, for a fearless, victorious crossing.
Included is a section on pain control, a system for meeting the death crossing triumphant and unafraid. There is a complete syllabus, instructions, and ideas about exactly how to structure and conduct a seminar on crossing. And a special section on Hospice.
Summary
Part I, Preparing Ahead of Time, explains meditative disciplines for written communication between oneself and the Universal Power, and methods by which to hear and record the personal messages that come in answer as tangible evidence.
Part II, Helping a Friend, tells how the author traveled with a close friend through the valley, and barriers of the death passage, and how using these disciplines they were able to reach the final bridge and experience together the transcendent crossing. This second book shows ways to help another at the death transition, much in the same ways we help another by the Lamaze system in the birthing process.
An audio tape by an OB-GYN is included in this manual. The manual is the result of requests to combine these books, found to be helpful to many readers. They have been used by organizations such as Aides, Hospices and those dealing with centers for cancer and the elderly, as well as those who are preparing to cross.
The books and manual examine the mental, spiritual and emotional aspects of the death transition when we must transfer our energy and life essence from the physical to the spiritual level. To do this we look at what dying really isand is NOT. Many insights can come from writing a journal and addressing it to God.
It is a certain fact that when we come close to that bend in the road we call death, we have insights and understandings that we cant get from a distance.
The books and tape record what many have experienced.
It is a fact that most everyone has also had reassurances regarding death either from their own situations, such as a Near Death Experience or out of the body experience, or they have heard of or known those who have.
In this current technological age, many die and return to tell us that this is undoubtedly the most meaningful, wondrous, life-changing occurrence they ever had. Many have communications with those who have died or feel them very close. What does all this say about death? How do we talk to, or treat someone who is dying?
For example, certain types of massage help. With hospice, assistance now available to everyone regardless of ability to pay, we can usually keep our patient pain free, or at least comfortable enough to die with dignity and can then experience the transition with wonder rather than fear and tension.
In the manual, practical advice is also given such as: do not think that just because someone is comatose, they cant hear and understand whats being said! we can also communicate on a spiritual and mental level with the dying.
We can help those who are making the transition:
1. Carefully listen to what they say. They can give invaluable advice because their spiritual insights are so intense. The life and death cycle looks entirely different when one gets close to the crossing. They can see around the bend in the road. They are from a higher level of consciousness. They see an overall panorama of the life experience: the people, the events and the meanings.
2. No one should feel that they are unworthy and therefore will not receive these blessings all report back that they have experienced. All religions tell how we are granted pardon through grace.
3. We need to give the dying person permission to go.
4. Remind them of certain thoughts that will help them and by visualization such as by practicing seeing the loved ones gathered around at this time for them.
5. Using affirmatives and certain methods of synchronizing the breathing process with them.
These books and this tape are not for sale.
